Following a public inquiry, an ecologist's consultation, and a preventive archaeological survey, the infrastructure works for the Lioujas business park have begun. These operations, expected to last a few months, aim to prepare the plots for sale, scheduled in 2027.
Nicolas BESSIERE, President of the Comtal, Lot et Truyère Intercommunal Community, along with Magali BESSAOU, Mayor, and Éric PICARD, Vice-President for Economic Affairs, visited the construction site.
The purpose of these works is to make each plot viable by enabling connections for water, electricity, telecommunications, and gas, as well as road access.
Earthmoving operations are currently underway. For the sub-base layer of the future road, materials from the excavations are being crushed and, after recalibration, reused for the structure's construction. The trenching phase has also started.
