Ten communes, including Anglars-Saint-Félix, Belcastel, Bournazel, Escandolières, Goutrens, Lugan, Mayran, Montbazens, Rignac, and Roussennac, are participating in this edition of the Téléthon. Throughout the autumn, associations, local authorities, and volunteers are organizing solidarity sales, jumble sales, sports activities, hikes, concerts, meals, and shows.
The varied program includes hikes from Belcastel, Rignac towards Aubignac, and from Escandolières to Bournazel. Sports enthusiasts can also join a Color Run, a walking or mountain biking challenge, and a pétanque competition. Music will be featured with concerts, choirs, dance evenings, and a theatrical performance.
Food lovers can enjoy diverse meals such as paella, cassoulet, oysters, and game, as well as sales of fouaces, bread baked in traditional ovens, cakes, and grilled chestnuts. Initiatives like the jumble sale at the Médiathèque du Pays Rignacois and tombolas complete the program.
Saturday, December 5th, will be a key highlight with numerous activities. In Rignac, a hike will be offered by the Marcheurs du Pays Rignacois, while Espérance Rignacoise will host a musical event. The evening will include a cassoulet meal organized by the CIAS du Pays Rignacois and a musette dance.
In Roussennac, Montbazens, and Anglars-Saint-Félix, other activities are planned: firefighter demonstrations, paella meals, hikes, grilled chestnuts, sheepdog demonstrations, sports and solidarity challenges, and a Color Run.
In 2025, the actions organized in the region raised €13,116.31 for the Téléthon. The Communauté de communes du Pays Rignacois thanks all involved and invites residents to participate in this new edition.
