The Mammobile, a mobile mammography unit, is touring Aveyron in November 2026 to bring breast cancer screening closer to women aged 50 to 74.

To promote access to breast cancer screening, the Mammobile, a mobile mammography unit, will be present in several towns in the Aveyron region during November 2026. This local initiative allows women aged 50 to 74, who have not had a mammogram in at least two years, to undergo an examination close to their homes.
The Mammobile is a mobile radiology clinic equipped to perform screening mammograms. Its aim is to reach women in rural or remote areas, facilitating access to prevention and screening. Early detection is one of the most effective ways to identify breast cancer at an early stage and improve recovery chances.
Appointments are scheduled for the following dates:
Wednesday, November 4, 2026 in Camarès (Salle des fêtes, 15 avenue de Saint-Affrique) from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Thursday, November 5, 2026 in Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance (Place Bourguebus, place de la mairie) from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Appointments can be made on Doctolib by searching for « Mammobile Nord Occitanie » or by calling 05 32 74 14 43.
This initiative is a major public health concern. By bringing healthcare services closer to residents, the Mammobile helps reduce inequalities in access to care and encourages preventive measures.
