On October 13, 2026, the Rodez University Hospital organized a Pink October day, featuring a Health Village dedicated to breast cancer prevention and a conference on metastatic breast cancer.

The hall of the Rodez University Hospital was transformed on October 13, 2026, into a Health Village, a space dedicated to the prevention and awareness of breast cancer.
The 3C (Cancer Coordination Center) of the University Hospital, alongside the Ligue contre le cancer – Comité de l’Aveyron, the association Patients en Réseau, CAMI Sport & Cancer, and Justine Dorléans, a sports educator and dietitian-nutritionist, joined forces to inform the public, exchange ideas, and highlight available support and assistance programs.
The day began with a musical interlude offered by Maria-Carolina Brinez and Claire Guinot, fostering an atmosphere of sharing and conviviality.
In parallel, a conference titled 'Day 13 – October 13, 2026', focused on the International Metastatic Breast Cancer Day, took place. Organized by the SIRIC Institut Curie and the Collectif 1310, in partnership with the IHU Cancer des Femmes, the Centre Hospitalier de Rodez, the IFMS, and the Centre Léon Bérard de Lyon, it was broadcast live at the Institute for Health Professions Training in Rodez.
Warm thanks are extended to all partners, speakers, and professionals who mobilized for this essential day of awareness and commitment in the fight against breast cancer.
