The function room of Soulages-Bonneval hosted, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, a mayors' conference focused on resuming the development process of the Intercommunal Local Urban Planning Plan (PLUi). The objective is to establish a framework for a shared territorial vision regarding planning and development.
Following a review of an initial procedure launched in 2017, elected officials reaffirmed their commitment to this project. The PLUi aims to provide the territory with a common project that balances local development, quality of life, resource preservation, maintenance of agricultural activity, heritage valorization, and adaptation to climate change.
This meeting served to recall the regulatory fundamentals and the stages of the PLUi development process. A time for discussion and reflection in working groups was then dedicated to the modalities of steering this process at the intercommunal level and the conditions for collaboration between the Community of Communes and its member municipalities.
A governance scheme was developed in workshops and adopted by the members. It is intended to ensure the involvement of the municipalities, the sharing of information, and the co-construction of the project.
