On October 1st, the renovated venue hosted a blues concert featuring The Jammers 31, attended by 120 people. Before the performance, the Mayor welcomed this first cultural event since the renovations. The band, originating from the Toulouse Blues Society, presented a program blending French and American blues classics with some rock pieces, leveraging the new hall's sound quality, which was praised by the musicians themselves. The atmosphere was lively, characterized by camaraderie among the musicians, audience interaction, rhythmic clapping, and sing-alongs, culminating in a standing ovation after the concert, which extended beyond its planned hour to over two hours.
On October 2nd, an official inauguration gathered around forty guests, including local elected officials, founding volunteers of Aucamville's cinematic activity over 40 years ago, teachers, school principals, and cultural stakeholders from the region. Among those present were the Mayor, Fabrice Igounet (Deputy Mayor for Culture), Brigitte Denoy (Councillor for Cinema), and Ms. Cortijo (Mayor of Pibrac and President of the Culture Commission at Toulouse Métropole).
In the evening, new managers Joris Barbeau and Zoé Ruchaud met with the cinema's loyal audience to present their plans. New offerings include the Cinématins on Sunday mornings, re-screenings of major cinema classics, and Unipop sessions combining film screenings with debates. This promising start marks a new chapter for the cinema.
