A new call for projects has been launched for the labeling of Budget Advisory Points (PCB) in Occitania, aiming to strengthen the initiative from January 2027 with updated specifications and an evolved funding model.

Budget Advisory Points (PCB), established in 2016, offer free, confidential, and local support to individuals seeking better budget management or facing financial difficulties. This initiative plays a vital role in preventing over-indebtedness and promoting financial inclusion.
Starting from January 2027, the PCB system will be revamped to enhance service quality, support effectiveness, and territorial coverage. Planned updates include new specifications, an evolution of the funding model, and an adaptation of the territorial network, along with a minimum threshold of 50 individuals assisted per year for each labeled structure. These changes aim to better align funding with missions and ensure quality support.
Prospective organizations must commit to the new specifications for a three-year convention period, from 2027 to 2029. This call for projects seeks to consolidate the PCB network in Occitanie and guarantee support services tailored to local needs. The region currently has 37 labels, with at least one per department.
Applications can be submitted through the "démarches numériques" platform from October 15 to November 15, 2026, until 11:59 PM. No applications will be accepted after the closing date. The selection committee will pay close attention to territorial coverage based on needs. Applicants must specify the communes or EPCI covered by their project in the 'planned geographical location' section.
