The town of Fonsorbes inaugurated its very first restaurant for seniors this Wednesday, November 4th, at the Trépadé school canteen, bringing together nearly 50 participants.

This unprecedented project, realized in just a few months, is the result of the mobilization of Mayor Mathieu Lafoux, the municipal team, the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS), and municipal services. Thanks to discussions with Muretain Agglo, a solidarity-based price of €10 per meal has been established.
Mayor Mathieu Lafoux, accompanied by Pascal Daram, Françoise Boyer, Valérie Baccou, and Patricia Eche, actively participated in this first lunch, serving guests and engaging in conversation with attendees.
This new weekly event, offered every Wednesday by the municipal team through the CCAS, was very well received. Seniors were able to meet each other and share a warm moment, expressing their satisfaction and desire to return.

"Beyond the meal, this new service responds to a real desire for sharing and meeting. It helps strengthen bonds between Fonsorbes residents, combat isolation, and further foster solidarity and conviviality within our town."

Mathieu Lafoux · Mayor of Fonsorbes
The success of this first day is very encouraging and confirms the interest in this initiative. Thanks are extended to all participants, elected officials, and teams mobilized for the success of this event.
