The Energy and Environment Commission of PETR Pays Tolosan validated several actions to support local authorities in the energy transition and climate change adaptation, following its meeting on September 30th.

A survey of public buildings will be launched to inventory municipal assets, identify priority energy renovation needs, and better target requirements. Concerned municipalities will receive a letter with a census form, and a follow-up is planned before the end of the year. The collected data will also feed into the IPPER portal.
An inventory of charging stations for electric vehicles is also underway. The goal is to identify existing equipment, ongoing projects, and the needs of the municipalities. A specific letter has been sent to local authorities, with a one-month response deadline and a follow-up planned.
The commission also approved the principle of organizing an information meeting on photovoltaic self-consumption, both individual and collective, in collaboration with AREC.
Regarding energy renovation, it was proposed to study the adaptation of a local charter for RGE artisans at the Pays Tolosan level. This initiative aims to promote high-performance renovation projects and the development of renewable energies. A meeting will be organized with the technician from the Departmental Council responsible for this action and the economic development officers from the intercommunalities.
Finally, discussions focused on the European COL3NATUR project, dedicated to the renaturation of schoolyards and school paths to promote climate change adaptation. The process continues with the preparation of pilot actions in the Pays Tolosan territory.
