The municipality of L'Union inaugurated two new VélôToulouse stations on September 10th, bringing the total number of self-service bike access points in the town to three.

As of September 10th, the town of L’Union now features two new VélôToulouse stations, increasing its self-service bike offering to three points. These new installations aim to complement the existing service and facilitate daily commutes for residents and visitors.
The two new stations are strategically located: station 8002 is situated on Avenue de Toulouse, near the Saint-Caprais shopping center, while station 8003 is established at the Grande Halle, on Rue du Vignemale. These locations were chosen for their proximity to key activity and mobility hubs.
The station near the Saint-Caprais shopping center is intended to improve access to local shops and facilities. Concurrently, the Grande Halle station enhances a vital mobility hub, particularly due to its proximity to the Linéo 9 terminus, thus providing a practical solution for combining cycling with public transport.
These additions follow the launch of the first station, station 8001 Mont-Louis – Avenue de Toulouse, in March 2026. With three operational stations now available, L’Union offers new possibilities for travel within the municipality, as well as for reaching Toulouse and neighboring towns.
The VélôToulouse service provides a fleet of classic and electric-assist bicycles, accessible via self-service. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to diversify transportation modes and promote sustainable mobility, contributing to a reduction in private car usage.
Through these new locations, L’Union is progressively strengthening its cycling network and car-free travel options, complementing existing public transport infrastructure and cycling facilities.
