The multi-sports field now allows for the practice of various outdoor disciplines, such as football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton, in an adapted and secure environment. An outdoor playground has also been set up nearby, offering children a dedicated space for open-air recreation. These installations aim to develop sports and leisure activities and encourage shared moments among families from the municipality and surrounding areas.
Complementing these outdoor spaces, a socio-educational room has been created by renovating part of the former technical services workshops. This venue, managed by the Foyer rural, will be made available free of charge to associations and residents. It will be able to host meetings, sports events, board games, workshops led by external facilitators, and cultural activities.
The Department of Haute-Garonne supported the realization of these local facilities. In total, €94,402 in departmental subsidies were allocated to Ponlat-Taillebourg for these various projects, as part of territorial contracts. This support aims to develop facilities accessible to all, thereby contributing to the animation of municipalities and the improvement of residents' quality of life.
