The CRCT, Toulouse's sole center dedicated entirely to cancer research, has unveiled the key achievements of its 2025 activities. This activity report details the significant progress made by its 20 research teams, supported by 8 technical platforms and comprising 400 members. The year also saw the successful defense of 30 doctoral theses.
Among the four scientific highlights, the report emphasizes the ESPRESSO technology for real-time 3D tracking of triple-negative breast cancer cells (OncoBreast team), a new strategy to improve response to electric fields in glioblastomas (RADOPT team), the therapeutic targeting of HIF-2 in pediatric leukemias following the PAX5 P80R mutation (IGAALD team), and the protective role of FKBP7 in pancreatic cancer (MICROPANC team).
