Seventeen companies from the Occitanie region are present at the International Food Exhibition (SIAL) in Paris, from October 17 to 21. The AD’OCC agency is supporting these agri-food players at this global event, which welcomed 285,000 professionals in 2024. Occitan exhibitors benefit from a collective Occitanie – Sud de France space (Hall 5A) designed to enhance their visibility and facilitate meetings with international buyers.
Among the participants, the product Pom’Aligot de l’Aubrac from the company Jeune Montagne (Aveyron) received the SIAL Innovation RHD Grand Prix. These aligot bites, ready in 2 minutes, were awarded for their innovative snacking concept, blending local tradition with modernity. Other regional companies have also been selected for the SIAL Innovation competition, with winners to be chosen by visitor vote.
To maximize commercial opportunities, AD’OCC is organizing two networking evenings: on October 18, a dedicated event with about fifteen international buyers (from the USA, South Korea, Germany, and Sweden), and on October 19, the 'Soirée des Régions de France', bringing together 10 French regions for showcases and tastings, supported by Comexposium and Business France.
This exhibition is a crucial platform for exhibiting companies, whether new to export or experienced, to develop new markets, qualify prospect portfolios, present their innovations, and observe global consumer trends under the Occitanie – Sud de France collective brand.
The 17 companies supported by AD’OCC are: Croustisud (Hérault), Garisssou – La Fleur des Chanvres (Hérault), L’Oulibo (Aude), La Quercynoise (Lot), Maison Occitane, HBS (Gard), Saveurs des Pyrénées (Haute-Garonne), Senfas (Gard), Auzier Chabernac (Hérault), St Mamet (Gard), Salles Frères (Hérault), Maison Chabert (Gard), Biscuiterie du Quercy (Lot), Occitanie Gourmet (Haute-Garonne), Jeune Montagne (Aveyron), Maison Fayard (Haute-Garonne), Délices des Anges (Hérault), and Rue Traversette (Hérault).
