The 26·27 cultural season officially kicked off on Friday, September 18. For this exceptional opening, the La Gespe venue in Tarbes hosted the event, bringing together nearly 200 spectators.
On stage, the group Barrut captivated the audience with their Occitan polyphonies, blending rock, neoclassical, and cinematic music influences. The evening was preceded by performances from two local groups: La Baronne, an amateur choir from the foyer rural des Baronnies, and Los Joens, a workshop for students from the Henri Duparc conservatory of Tarbes (CATLP). These opening acts set the tone, highlighting the passion for singing and the importance of transmission.
The season continues with the show « D’amour ou d’amitié – A show about Céline without Céline » by Cie Vraiment Super, scheduled for Friday, October 2 at 7 PM at the Palais des Congrès. The evening will conclude at 8:45 PM at the Le Palais cinema with the screening of the film « Aline » by Valérie Lemercier.
