The Arty’Sanat Gallery, a new space dedicated to creation, has opened its doors at 50, rue de Bagnères in Lourdes. Spearheaded by artisan-plastician Mélanie Germon, the venue highlights local art and craftsmanship.

Since this summer, the Arty’Sanat Gallery, a new space dedicated to creation, has opened its doors at 50, rue de Bagnères. Behind this project is Mélanie Germon, an artisan-plastician, fulfilling a long-held desire to open a space dedicated to local art and craftsmanship.
The gallery operates on a resale basis: the artists and artisans, currently numbering six, deposit their works and set their own prices. A quarterly residency allows for regular rotation of exhibitors. Paintings, sculptures, lighting, textiles, and artistically repurposed objects are featured, offering diverse pieces to suit various budgets and art tastes.
Mélanie Germon also presents her own creations, as well as her artistic furniture renovation services, where she breathes new life into historically significant pieces.
Beyond exhibition and sales, the gallery aims to become a true meeting place. Mélanie Germon, trained in art therapy, plans to offer individual and group workshops, as well as occasional plastic arts workshops.
Mélanie Germon emphasized the support she received from the City of Lourdes services throughout her project, particularly the Commerce department for administrative procedures and the Urban Planning department.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday: from 10 AM to 12 PM and then from 2 PM to 5:30 PM (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and until 7 PM on Saturdays.
