The city of Frontignan la Peyrade is preparing the 4th edition of its participatory budget, a local democracy initiative allowing citizens to propose and vote for community development projects. Applications will be open from mid-October to the end of November 2026.

The initiative aims to promote citizen ideas and collective intelligence to realize projects fostering community living, solidarity, or ecological transition. One to three adult residents of Frontignan la Peyrade can jointly propose an idea.
Following a feasibility study by a jury of elected officials, technicians, and representatives of participatory bodies, eligible projects will be put to a public vote. Winning projects will then be co-constructed with the support of municipal services.
For this 2026 campaign, applications will run from mid-October to the end of November. Eligibility analysis will take place in late December-early January, after which projects will be presented on the city's website under the 'Participatory Democracy' section.
As in previous years, four budget envelopes are available: €30,000, €10,000, and two envelopes of €5,000. It is specified that project leaders who had a winning project in the previous campaign cannot apply for this new edition.
Registration can be done via an online form or at the Maison des projets et de la citoyenneté, located at rue Victor-Anthérieu. For more information, contact 04 67 18 54 33, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5:30 PM.
