Elected officials, technicians, and health and urban planning professionals from the region gathered on Friday, September 25th in Olonzac. The objective of this exchange day was to raise awareness among local stakeholders about the levers of action regarding health determinants, particularly through urban planning documents. The event focused on the theme 'Health, public spaces, and PLU towards health-friendly urban planning'.
Faced with public health challenges such as an aging population, the rise of chronic diseases, and climate change, the Health-Friendly Urban Planning approach aims to integrate health issues. It encourages planning and urban development choices that generate shared benefits for health, the environment, and the climate.
This initiative received financial support from the DRAAF Occitanie, as part of the Regional Health Environment Plan. For more information, you can contact 04.67.38.11.10.
