The SICTOM Pézenas-Agde has initiated improvement and modernization works at the Magalas waste disposal center. The objective is to facilitate drop-offs and sorting while strengthening safety for users and staff. The project is scheduled to last approximately six months.
Starting from September 30, 2026, the green waste drop-off area will be closed. Drop-offs of small volumes of green waste in bins from the quay will still be possible.
The Magalas waste disposal center will remain open throughout the construction period but will operate in a reduced capacity, with access conditions subject to change as work progresses. The SICTOM Pézenas-Agde thanks users for their understanding and cooperation.
Ultimately, these works will provide a more functional waste disposal center, better adapted to the territory's needs. To facilitate drop-offs during the works, users are encouraged to visit the nearest waste disposal centers.
The Laurens waste disposal center is open from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, Monday to Saturday, closed on Tuesdays. The Roujan waste disposal center has the same hours, Monday to Saturday.
