In the presence of the Center Chief and all the firefighters, a large public crowd admired the various vehicles ready for deployment. Children, and often their parents, could try an intervention course with obstacle crossing and equipment use, helping them better understand the missions of these dedicated men and women.
The day featured games, a raffle with the plush toy Pompy as a prize, a shop, refreshments, tours of the facilities, and a vehicle exhibition. The mascot Pompy was very popular for photos and hugs.
From the morning, the Mayor and several elected officials were present to greet the Center Chief and his teams, congratulating them on their constant courage and dedication throughout the year.
These fun activities sparked aspirations, with some children already dreaming of one day wearing the blue and red uniform of the firefighters.
This latest edition of the Open House was a success, with congratulations to the Association, the center's staff, and all those who contributed to its organization.
