The City of Mèze and its Social Action Community Center (CCAS) organized on Thursday, September 24th, at the Château de Girard, the second edition of the Autonomy Fair. The event brought together nearly fifty partners to address the crucial issues of autonomy, disability, home care, and caregiver support.
Throughout the morning, visitors had the opportunity to interact with numerous professionals, associations, and institutions to obtain personalized information and advice. The fair covered a wide range of solutions, including home care, adapting housing for aging, health prevention, mobility, access to rights, administrative procedures, personal services, and technical equipment.
Particular attention was given to caregivers, whose essential role is supported by dedicated information and guidance. The event also highlighted the support for children and youth in vulnerable situations, with professionals mobilized to assist concerned families.

The afternoon was dedicated to round tables bringing together professionals to deepen discussions on coordinating pathways and facilitating access to solutions for individuals and their families.

With this second edition, the Autonomy Fair confirms its mission to bring solutions closer to residents and promote networking among professionals, aiming for increasingly human, effective, and local support. This event was made possible by the mobilization of professionals, associations, institutions, and organizations, as well as the financial support of partners such as CFPPA, the Médéric Alzheimer Foundation, 2MAD, Thau Ambulances, and AGIRC-ARRCO.
