For three days, the municipality of Servian transforms with increased mobilization, new activities, and wellness workshops to support the fight against breast cancer. A warm and supportive program is offered to residents.
Starting September 28, the town hall will be illuminated in pink, while the market square will be decorated with original knitted creations by the association Art et Culture.
On Friday, October 16, a cake sale by Présence Verte will take place in front of their premises during the day. In the evening, the Salle Jean Moulin will host a solidarity play performed by Les Bambades of the association Art et Culture at 8 PM. Donations collected will be given to the Ligue contre le cancer.
Saturday, October 17, will feature a large gathering on the Place du Marché. The program includes prevention and well-being with a stand from the Maison de Santé offering practical self-examination workshops, awareness on life-saving gestures with the firefighters, and a wellness area with sophrology, stretching, and aikido.
Sports activities are also planned, including an 8km solidarity walk (5 €, registrations possible at Optic’Noémie) and demonstrations by local sports clubs (GRS, squash, basketball) accompanied by a raffle. The day will also include musical entertainment, dance performances (ASD, Trinity Country), creative workshops (bracelets, pebble logos), a rose sale (1 €), and souvenir photos.
For dining, a meal is available for reservation at Super U until October 15 (12€, Basque chicken/rice/donut). In the evening, a snack area (hot-dog, panini, tenders) will be open, followed by a grand 'Apérose' and a Pink Ball hosted by Coeur en Fête.
On Sunday, October 18, a large solidarity lottery will be held at the Salle Jean Moulin at 4 PM, with exceptional prizes including connected glasses worth over €1,000 and wellness boxes.
The Ligue contre le cancer and the town hall are calling for volunteers for logistics and room preparation, as well as donations of prizes for the lottery, which are essential to maximize the collection for the fight against cancer.
