The town of Gourdon, in partnership with the communal social action center (CCAS) and the Lot Food Bank, is organizing its national collection on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event will take place at Intermarché, route de Salviac.

This national collection is an essential annual event to help people and families facing difficulties. It is the only time of year when the Food Banks network appeals to individuals for donations of non-perishable food items and hygiene products.
The collected items will be redistributed locally within the Lot department, ensuring that aid benefits those in poverty. The call to action is: "Let's not hesitate and offer one or more products that may be gathering dust in our cupboards… Every gesture counts."
Organizers are also seeking volunteers to assist with the collection. To participate as a volunteer, please send an email to the town hall at contact@gourdon.fr. "Together, let's make this collection in Gourdon a great wave of solidarity!"
