The Florac Trois Rivières emergency center has acquired a large ladder truck, a new piece of equipment intended to strengthen the intervention capabilities of firefighters and improve safety across the entire South Lozère region.

This equipment is considered essential for certain high-altitude interventions, particularly during fires or rescue operations in hard-to-access buildings. It provides an additional means to respond to emergencies and protect the population.
The arrival of this ladder truck is the result of cooperation between local authorities and fire and rescue services. It was made possible by the initiative of François Durovray, president of the SDIS and the Department of Essonne, to provide equipment and vehicles to the Lozère SDIS, a particularly valuable effort for this rural territory.
Bernard Durand, the mayor of Florac, and the entire municipal council have expressed their warm thanks to François Durovray for his commitment, as well as to the Department of Lozère and its president, Laurent Suau, the SDIS 48, state services, and all partners who contributed to the realization of this operation.
This new provision highlights the importance of cooperation between local authorities and solidarity between territories to enhance rescue resources and ensure better protection for residents.
