As part of the CASI plan (Climate Adaptation Drought, Fires), the State has deployed an agricultural rearmament fund to support farms in Lozère whose cash flow is most weakened.

This exceptional support aims to strengthen the cash flow of agricultural holdings and ensure the continuity of their activity, particularly affected by historical yield losses and increased economic difficulties due to drought.
For the Lozère department, the initial allocation is €650,000. This aid is granted as a lump sum, within the limit of available funds and processed after the application window closes. It falls under the European agricultural de minimis regime, with a ceiling of €50,000 in aid over three years per farm.
Targeted farms eligible for this exceptional aid include full-time farmers, those supported by the REAGIR unit for economic issues, specialized market gardening farms with over 50% of their Utilized Agricultural Area (UAA) dedicated to market gardening and experiencing drought-related production losses, as well as livestock farmers (young farmers or new entrants) meeting specific criteria for cattle, sheep, or goat numbers and having over 75% of their land in permanent pastures.
Applications must be submitted before October 14, 2026. The Chamber of Agriculture in Lozère offers assistance for this process. Mandatory documents include a de minimis certificate and bank details (RIB), supplemented by proof of incurred expenses (optional).
