In late October, about twenty people participated in a night hike organized by the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees, guided by park agents to the Col del Torn refuge.

In late October, about twenty people laced up their hiking boots, put on their heavy down jackets, and were guided by agents of the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees under a nearly full moon to the refuge at Col del Torn (Capcir). This night hike aimed to discover the biodiversity of the night, the challenges related to human presence, and to experience new sensations in the forest.
After a hearty meal at the refuge, prepared by the guardians, the group returned, lulled by Jordi Mach and his tales of yesteryear. The event was organized by the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees with Natura 2000 funding.
The Park invites participants to identify the calls of nocturnal animals, with sounds to recognize: Deer's Roar, Tawny Owl's Hoot, Little Owl's Cry, Eagle Owl's Song, and Roe Deer's Bark.
