The aid program designed to partially offset the increased costs of mineral nitrogen fertilizers for agricultural holdings has had its conditions modified by FranceAgriMer.

The DDT informs farmers of recent changes to the aid scheme aimed at partially compensating for the increased cost of their fertilizer supplies. Initially announced on July 24, 2026, this program has been adjusted following a FranceAgriMer decision on September 25.
Key changes include a reduction in the minimum aid application threshold from €750 to €350. Furthermore, the eligibility date for invoices has been extended from September 30 to December 31, 2026, providing greater flexibility for farmers.
This initiative aims to cover a portion of the increased costs for simple mineral nitrogen fertilizers experienced by agricultural holdings between June 1 and September 30, 2026, due to the conflict in the Middle East. The initial aid offered €50 per eligible tonne of fertilizer, with a bonus of €70 for farms where fertilizers constituted over 10% of their charges in the fiscal year ending before December 31, 2025.
Detailed conditions, attribution procedures, attestation templates, and the list of eligible fertilizers are available on the FranceAgriMer website. The program was open from August 1, 2026, until November 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Applications were to be submitted online via the Data Acquisition Platform (PAD).
