Following ministerial recognition on October 2, 2026, farmers in Tarn-et-Garonne can now submit their compensation claims for losses suffered during the drought and high temperatures from June to September 2026.

The application procedure for the National Solidarity Indemnity (ISN) is open from Tuesday, October 20, for the entire department, exclusively through online procedures. This recognition covers several crops, including field crops (corn, sunflower, soybean, sorghum), arboriculture (Ente plums, hazelnuts), and various vegetables (strawberries, courgettes, tomatoes, salads, etc.).
As a reminder, the minimum loss thresholds for compensation are 50% for field crops, seeds, industrial crops, and vegetables, and 30% for arboriculture. The compensation rates for losses beyond these thresholds are 28% for field crops and vegetables, and 31.5% for Ente plums and hazelnuts. Compensation must exceed €200 to be considered.
The procedure is accessible online via the link https://ecoagri.agriculture.gouv.fr/aleanat, from Tuesday, October 20, to Friday, November 20, 2026. Farmers with a multi-risk climate insurance contract on one of their productions cannot claim national solidarity indemnity for uninsured crops; these losses must be managed by their insurer.
