Traffic has been restored on the VC3 in Saint-Cirice as of September 29, 2026, following reconstruction work necessitated by a landslide.

The new VC3 road in Saint-Cirice is now complete, and its reopening to traffic has been effective since September 29, 2026. Following a landslide that washed away part of the roadway, the town hall of Saint-Cirice requested the intervention of the Community of Communes for this communal road.
This complex project required consideration of several factors. The situation was indeed delicate, with a residential house located below the affected area, as well as an underground high-voltage line present within the collapse zone.
To ensure a lasting repair, it was decided to relocate the road to the neighboring plot. As this belonged to a private individual, the town hall of Saint-Cirice proceeded with its acquisition before retroceding a portion to the CC2R, necessary for the realization of the new route.
An engineering firm then assessed the needs, conducted a soil study, and proposed a construction method adapted to the site. Various network concessionaires then proceeded with the relocation of their infrastructure, notably the Water Syndicate and Enedis.
The road reconstruction work could then proceed and lasted for 1 month.
