The 4th edition of the Caregivers Forum took place in Mazamet, offering a day focused on supporting those who care for a child, parent, spouse, or loved one with a disability, loss of autonomy, or illness. These caregivers often juggle daily care, medical appointments, and administrative tasks.
Organized by the Mazamet health center and its partners, the forum featured around forty information and guidance stands staffed by professionals. Numerous workshops also allowed participants to experiment and exchange ideas. The day was further enhanced by a forum theater performance by the citizen school and a conference on autism.
The City of Mazamet emphasizes the importance of these initiatives, stating that « helping a loved one should never mean forgetting to take care of oneself ». The municipality is pleased to host these events that highlight committed actors and the individuals they serve.
