The Pays Viganais Intercommunal Community is seeking a professional or structure to operate the restaurant space at the Maison de Site des Belvédères de Blandas. This site, located in the heart of the Grand Site de France du Cirque de Navacelles, is recognized for its exceptional natural and landscape environment, benefiting from several protection designations, including UNESCO World Heritage status.
The objective is to offer visitors a quality dining experience, consistent with the site's identity and contributing to the territory's attractiveness. The site welcomes tourists, families, and many hikers. The Maison du Grand Site, developed in 2013, includes a reception and tourist information area managed by the Sud Cévennes Tourist Office, as well as a bar/restaurant space.
The restaurant space made available to the operator comprises approximately 410 m², including interior areas (193 m²), technical facilities (20 m²), a patio (25 m²), a covered terrace (135 m²), and rest areas. The site is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The Intercommunal Community provides the necessary dining room equipment (tables, chairs). The maintenance and good condition of this equipment will be the responsibility of the operator. Candidates must specify their additional investments and submit any modifications to the layout for prior approval by the Intercommunal Community.
The desired services include simple, quality, and accessible cuisine, prioritizing fresh, local, and seasonal products, with an accessible price range. A takeaway option and/or ice cream/crêpe service is particularly sought after. The indicative opening hours are from 9 am to 7 pm, with daily opening in July and August, and operation during the period from spring holidays to All Saints' Day holidays.
The proposed activity must be compatible with the environmental and landscape challenges of the classified site. The operator must ensure cleanliness, waste management, and the limitation of nuisances. Good coordination with the Sud Cévennes Tourist Office will be essential.
The envisaged contract is a management lease for a period of one year, renewable. The indicative fee is €7,200 per year. The operator will be responsible for expenses related to their activity and must possess the necessary qualifications and licenses. The License IV held by the Intercommunal Community may be made available.
The application file must present the proposed concept, menu, prices, product sourcing, services, professional experience, motivations, and economic model. The project presentation to the elected officials of the Pays Viganais Intercommunal Community will take place on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, starting at 2 p.m.
