Students represent a particularly vulnerable population, facing a higher risk of psychological distress and generally poorer mental health compared to their non-student peers. These difficulties are closely linked to learning challenges, such as reduced motivation and less effective use of study strategies, consequently impacting academic success.
In response to this situation, researchers from Nîmes University have created Etu’ Zen. This intervention is designed to be easy, accessible, and engaging, usable in groups during teaching sessions or independently online.
The primary objective of the platform is twofold: to help students develop resources that promote their well-being and to improve their learning capabilities. The program consists of 9 modules, each featuring a video of approximately 10 minutes offering information, tools, practical exercises, testimonials, and quizzes.
Its objective is: 1. to help students develop resources that promote their well-being; 2. to improve students' learning.
This project, presented during the 12th monthly webinar of the Mardi de la Réussite (Tuesdays of Success) on October 6th, was introduced by Elodie Charbonnier, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at Nîmes University. Replays of the 2025-2026 Mardi de la Réussite sessions are available.
