From October 6th to 10th, Fonsorbes' LudoMédiA celebrated the Fête de la Science with a rich program, including an exhibition, workshops, and a conference.

From October 6th to 10th, the LudoMédiA was alive with the colors of the Fête de la Science. Its highlight, on Wednesday, October 7th, brought together about a hundred people for activities designed for all ages.
Starting on Tuesday, October 6th, the exhibition "l’Effet MATILDA", thanks to the collaboration of the Quai des Savoirs and the association "Femmes et Sciences", was set up in the exhibition hall. It can be visited until October 24th.
On Wednesday, October 7th, young children were introduced to the world of science through "Contes du Bocal" (Tales from the Jar) hosted by Sabine. In the afternoon, older children participated in two workshops: one for conducting surprising and fun experiments, and another for programming electronic components and discovering woodworking by creating a sculpture honoring women scientists. The evening featured a meeting with Audrey Dussutour, a researcher at the CNRS and a specialist in the "Blob", a unicellular organism with astonishing capabilities. This convivial gathering captivated the audience.
On Saturday, October 10th, the event concluded with a conference by the Café des arts. Many spectators were able to immerse themselves in the research work of Sophie Guérin Gasc, a doctor in art history, on the work of the tapestry artist Dom Robert, offering a fascinating journey through nature and color.
Finally, no fewer than 15 classes have visited or will visit the LudoMédiA to explore the "Effet MATILDA" exhibition with Julie Batut, research director at the CNRS, and the librarians.
