Varenka Quere, who was an employee at the establishment, took over the reins the day after the previous manager decided to close the institute to focus on one of her two businesses. She describes the transition not as a takeover, but as a continuity, as she was already familiar with the premises and the clientele, who have followed her.
After more than twenty years as a secretary in the construction industry, Varenka decided to pursue her passion for beauty. With about ten years of experience in nail care and a diploma in aesthetics obtained two years ago, she has fully dedicated herself to this profession. Hired this year at the institute, she is now its manager.
The original services, focused on the eyes, are maintained and include eyelash extensions, lash lifts (including brow lifts), coloring, and waxing, particularly with thread. Where the institute previously had two stations dedicated to eye treatments, it now has one for eyes and one for the body.
Varenka Quere also offers body waxing for both women and men, an activity she already practiced. The institute received €438 in aid from the City of Lourdes' Urban Planning department as part of the Signage Plan and benefits from the support of the Commerce department.
