The organizers of the Tour de France have unveiled the route for the 114th edition, taking place from July 2 to 25, 2027. The 13th stage, on Friday, July 16, will pass through several towns in the Grand Pic Saint-Loup territory.
Starting from Aubenas, the peloton will go through Alès, Anduze, and Quissac, before taking the departmental road D17 to cross Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers and then reach the center of Montpellier via Jacou and Castelnau-le-Lez. This stage will cover 164 kilometers with 1,500 meters of positive elevation gain.
The stage profile, while featuring some difficulties in the first half, is expected to favor sprinters in the finale, barring unfavorable winds. Precise timings for the riders and the publicity caravan will be published in spring 2027. An estimation places rider passage in Quissac around 4:30 PM, in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers around 4:50 PM, and the finish in Montpellier (Antigone district) around 5:30 PM. The publicity caravan will precede the riders by two hours.
