On Thursday, September 10th, the steering committee chaired by Pierre Mathieu and the Pays team held their back-to-work meeting in La Tour-sur-Orb. They presented the review of actions carried out in 2025-2026 in the fields of energy, mobility, and climate change adaptation, as well as the roadmap for 2026-2027.
Regarding energy, the Shared Energy Council (CEP) and the France Rénov’ territorial PACT continued to support municipalities and residents in reducing their buildings' energy consumption. Seven new photovoltaic installations for collective self-consumption were also completed.
In the area of mobility, the implementation of the Simplified Mobility Plan continued with actions such as cooperation around the Train de l’Aubrac, surveys on school travel, the development of cycling plans by inter-municipal communities, and the animation of Mobility Information Points by Gefosat.
For climate change adaptation, a forward-looking action plan was developed with territorial stakeholders, focusing on three essential needs: feeding oneself, housing, and maintaining social connection.
The roadmap for 2026 / 2027 was also validated. The missions of the CEP and the France Rénov’ territorial PACT will continue, alongside several structuring projects such as updating the territory's energy strategy, launching the Mobility Challenge, and continuing the climate change adaptation initiative.
