As part of the National France Services Days, taking place from October 5th to 16th, the Minervois au Caroux Intercommunal Community is inviting residents to participate in free workshops. These sessions aim to simplify access to online administrative procedures.
The 2026 edition of this national event, themed « Close to you, close to home », involves several structures across the territory. The Community of Communes directly manages the France Services centers in Olonzac and Saint-Pons de Thomières. The association Cebenna runs the center in Olargues, while a mobile service is operated by the Mutualité sociale agricole. This collective effort highlights the diverse approaches to ensuring public service access in rural areas.
Two specific workshops are offered at the centers in Olonzac and Saint-Pons de Thomières. The first, focused on creating a FranceConnect account, will enable participants to access various online services with a single login. It will be held in Olonzac on October 15th (9:30 AM - 12:00 PM) and in Saint-Pons de Thomières on October 13th (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM). Registration is required.
A second workshop will concentrate on securing digital identity, helping participants protect their communications with the administration. The session in Olonzac will take place on October 8th (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM), and the one in Saint-Pons de Thomières on October 9th (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM). Registration is also mandatory for this workshop.
Additionally, France Services teams will be present at the markets in Olonzac (Tuesday, October 6th, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM) and Saint-Pons de Thomières (Wednesday, October 14th, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM). These drop-in sessions will provide information about the services. The Early Childhood services teams will also be there to introduce the Child-Parent Welcome Center and the Early Childhood Relay activities.
These initiatives are part of the social policy of the Minervois au Caroux Intercommunal Community, aiming to reduce the digital divide and ensure equitable access to public services, even in the most isolated areas.
