The Palais des Congrès in Mazamet transformed into a space dedicated to Japanese culture on the weekend of October 17-18, attracting 4,300 visitors for the Jap’in Tarn event.

For two days, residents and visitors were able to immerse themselves in the world of the Rising Sun. Free entry allowed a broad audience, attending with family or friends, to explore art exhibitions, try sushi-making workshops, watch fashion shows, and enjoy numerous activities suitable for all ages and tastes.
This edition was marked by the arrival of the Espace Apollo as a new partner. This novelty notably allowed cosplay enthusiasts to parade from the Palais des Congrès to the cinema. A themed evening was then offered, featuring the cine-concert "Children of Tokyo" by director Yasujirō Ozu, followed by an animated film screening on Sunday.
The City of Mazamet warmly thanked the municipal staff for their exceptional efforts in setting up the event, as well as the volunteers, exhibitors, and all visitors for contributing to its great success.
The highlights of the event can be found in a video on the city's social media networks, along with photos via a dedicated link.
